Again Covenant wins Best Use of Technology Award

For the second time in succession, Covenant University, the best private university in Nigeria, emerged winner of the Best Use of Technology Award among private universities in Nigeria. The University received the award at the 3rd edition of the Nigeria Technology Awards on November 25, 2017, in Lagos.

The Director, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Dr. David Omole received the award on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor AAA. Atayero.

The award ceremony, according to the Event Director, Beta Media 360, Mr. Felix Nnuji, was to recognise and celebrate Nigeria Technology industry’s finest who have delivered per excellence in innovations across the country.

Covenant University was adjudged the best among other nominees in the education category, which include Igbinedion University, Madonna University and Babcock University.

It would be recalled that the University among others was awarded the Centenary ICT Driven University of the Year in 2014. Also, the University’s quests to be one of the 10 leading universities in the world by the year 2022, dubbed Vision 10: 2022, recently got a boost as she emerged tops in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Accounting and other multidisciplinary programmes.
