Following the approval of the Kaduna state government on reopening of tertiary institutions on the 25th January 2021, students have since resumed for the continuation of academic activities.
The institution has commenced academic activities with six weeks for lectures, some students interviewed from various faculties such as engineering and social sciences have started receiving lectures.
However, sadly, 200 level students of mass communication department are yet to start receiving lectures since after resumption.

In addition, lecture halls are seen locked on Tuesday. These halls are new lecture halls amongst others.
This may not be unconnected with ASUU issues with the federal government. Though the strike was called-off by the national body and other federal varsities have started academic activities since. But it seemed to have left behind some clouds of dust.
