Dr Olubamiji recalls how she obtained her PhD 5 years ago.
She attended public primary and secondary schools at Ibadan where she hawked pepper at the age of 10. She then studied Physics at Olabisi Onabanjo University and proceeded to Finland for a Masters’s Degree while she worked part-time as a cleaner.
She later obtained a 4-year scholarship at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
Congratulations to her.
In her words: “Put God first… Let nothing tell you you can’t do it.”
