Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists (NUCJ) won the National Quiz Competition, EDUTORIAL has learnt.
The quiz competition was part of the three-day activities mapped out for the 2019 National Convention held in Abeokuta.
The competition was held at the National Union of Journalists Secretariat, Abeokuta last Friday, May 31, 2019.
Seven Chapters contested in the competition where AAUA won with 13points, Federal University, Oy Ekiti (FUOYE) came second with 11points and Bayero University came third with 10points.
Other results gathered are Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Ijebu-Igbo (AAPOLY) with 9pts, Federal College of Education with 5pts, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with 4pts and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) with 3pts.
The National President of NUCJ, Joshua Oloyede congratulated AAUA and wished them continuity in good work.
An award was presented to the winner.
