Sunday Adebisi, a professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Studies, says arrangements have been concluded to deliver his first special annual lecture as occupier of the Dr Mike Adenuga (Jnr) Professional Chair in Entrepreneurship Studies.
Adebisi, also the Director, of Entrepreneurship and Skills Development Centre, University of Lagos disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Sunday in Lagos.
According to him, the lecture which is scheduled for Nov. 28, has the theme: Revolutionising the Nigerian Economy to Create Decent Jobs and Sustainable Wealth; The Sole-Ladder, the Sole-Option and the Sole -Platform.
The don said the lecture was aimed at changing the entrepreneurship and business landscape in Nigeria and Africa at large.
He explained that the Mike Adenuga (Jnr) Professional Chair, in entrepreneurship studies in the university was endowed by Dr Adenuga, to focus on interest in research that supported enterprise creation and development in the country.
“The special annual lecture series which is to be debuted by the first chair occupier and Prof. of Entrepreneurship Hub and Strategic Management, Sunday Adebisi, is part of the cardinal objectives of the professional chair.
“The occasion is expecting to host major players and stakeholders drawn from both the private and public sectors, to address and proffer solutions to some of the identified dire challenges facing the society.
“Among those expected to grace the occasion are among whom are the endower, Dr Mike Adenuga (Jnr) and Dr Olutoyin Okeowo, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Ajayi Crowther University.
Also expected at the occasion is Chief Abimbola Ashiru, Chairman, of Odu’a Investment Company Ltd as chairman, among others.
