Ocean Ambassadors To Hold National Maritime Quiz October 11

All is set for the 3^rd Annual Virtual Maritime Quiz which would hold from 11^th to 13^th October 2022.

The event, which is to celebrate the International Year of the Girl Child 2022, is being organised by the Ocean Ambassadors Foundation for SS1 and 2 female students.

In a chat with the EDUTORIAL, the Founder, Hon. Olaitan Williams noted that “The GIRL CHILD is desirous of coming on board in the maritime industry, hence, the quiz in celebration of the International year of the GIRL CHILD.”

According to her, cash prizes and other educational materials would be won at the event.

Ocean Ambassadors Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organisation which tends to open up the maritime sector at an early age to students, particularly girls.

Hon. Olaitan Williams has over the years worked passionately in bridging the generation gap in the industry by raising the interest of teenagers across secondary schools in Nigeria through various maritime competitions within and outside the country.
