Royal Diadem, a Lagos-based charity Organization has supported not less than 15 students in their recently launched campaign titled support a student initiative.

In an event held in Lagos, the charity Organization supported various students who just gained admission into Junior secondary school with school materials, which includes bags, shoes, mathematical sets, and notebooks.

Royal Diadem Coordinator, Mrs. Thelma Animasahun, when asked about her reason for the campaign said Royal Diadem was founded to help the underprivileged

“Nigeria has quite a number of underprivileged children, widows, and physically displaced persons. Royal Diadem Charity Organisation was founded on the basis of helping this category of people”

“Service to humanity is very paramount and this is our driving force. We know that the government can not get to every corner of the society and that is why we took it upon ourselves to take part in the building up of our society and attending to the welfare of underprivileged persons; providing them with basic amenities and giving them reasons to live as humans and citizens”

Thelma said her charity organization would be sponsoring the payment of both the General Certificate of Education (GCE) and Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations for students in the coming months.

“The smile on the faces of these students made me feel fulfilled. In the past months we have supported 8 students, we have decided to expand and we’ll be supporting students with Jamb and Gce forms in the coming months”
