Come September 8 to 13, 2019, the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and the African Conference on Research in Chemistry Education (ACRICE) will jointly hold the 42nd Annual International Conference of the CSN and 4th ACRICE tagged ‘Eko 2019.’
This largest gathering of Chemistry professionals in Africa will take place in Lagos, Nigeria and the CSN Ogun State Chapter is leaving no stone unturned to ensure greater participation of her members.
The Eko 2019 formed the major aspects of the discussion at the 55th regular meeting of CSN Ogun on Saturday, May 18, 2019, hosted by Covenant University, Ota.
The Chairman of the Chapter, Dr. I. Bankole enjoined members to fulfil their financial obligations toward attending the conference which will have “Chemistry Education and Sustainable Development,” as its theme.
He also briefed the members that the windows for the submission of abstracts and full papers for oral and poster presentation was still open, as he advised them to take advantage of the opportunity.
Eko 2019 is expected to attract over 1,000 executives in private and public sectors across chemical and allied business, including paint and coating; agrochemical; electronics equipment/IT; pharmaceuticals; food and beverages; petrochemical and energy; constructions; plastic and polymers; educational institutions; household and consumer products as well as textile and materials.
