The Concerned Northern Forum (CNF)has congratulated Professor Imam Yahuza  Sulaiman on his appointment as the Registrar/ CEO of the National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS). Professor Sulaiman’s appointment is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and exceptional leadership qualities.

In a Press Statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Kaduna by Abdulsalam Mohammed Kazeem, the Spokesperson of the Forum said”

“He is indeed a round peg in a round hole.  As a seasoned Islamic scholar and administrator per excellence, Professor. Imam is bringing to the Board more than 20 years of teaching and research as well as pious religious observances according to the Sunnah. With his wealth of experience, it won’t take long before Islam will become the dominant religion not just in Nigeria but the entire West African Sub-region.

The CNF also commends the former President, Muhammadu Buhari for appointing a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead the board. “We believe that Professor Sulaiman’s wealth of experience and expertise in academia and administration will enable him to steer the NBAIS to greater heights.

“We urge Professor Sulaiman to build on the solid foundation and achievements of the former Registrar, Professor Shafiu. We believe that with his leadership and the support of all stakeholders, the NBAIS will continue to thrive in its mandate to promote the study of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Nigeria.

The forum appeal to all stakeholders, including members of the NBAIS staff, to give Prof Sulaiman all the necessary support needed to make him succeed in his new role.

“It is our belief that if given the support of stakeholders, the new Registrar will surpass level of infrastructural development recorded by his predecessors as so much needs to be done both at National Headquarters and all Zonal offices of the Board.

The CNF wishes Professor Sulaiman a successful tenure as the Registrar of the NBAIS. We are confident that under his leadership, the NBAIS will continue to promote the study of Arabic and Islamic Studies in Nigeria, and we look forward to working with him to achieve this.
