Edutorial Reporter Selected For Nigerian Prize for Leadership Ambassador Programme

A reporter with Edutorial, Adesola Ikulajolu is among the entrants chosen for the Nigerian Prize for Leadership Ambassador Programme (NLP-ALP).

Adesola studied Mass Communication at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State.

He has been an active journalist from his campus days who served in different capacities. He was the 2019/2020 President of the department and also served as the Editor-in-chief of Echo Newspaper (a campus-based newspaper).

Adesola is known for his continued effort in ensuring the development of other young journalists and connecting them with opportunities.

EDUTORIAL gathered that ALP is an initiative to teach, train and imbibe into young minds the culture of leadership through various sessions.

The Nigerian Prize for Leadership is to identify what leadership means to Nigerians. It is an initiative being promoted by some eminent elder statesmen and women.

The Prize is to recognize outstanding acts of leadership, based on a clearly defined Nigerian paradigm, at various levels of society, and human interest. It is open to all Nigerians and will be presented to the most qualified, selected based on approved criteria and guidelines.

According to the mail received, “ALP 2021 will be hosted in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, from Sunday, November 14 to Monday, December 13, 2021.”

The mail further congratulated him for being selected for the programme, where he would join other selected ambassadors from other states.
