The department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko has organized an orientation for the newly admitted students of the department.
The head of the department, John Oyewole, represented by Mr. Adinlewa in his speech urged the fresh students to see the lecturers as their friends and always see the need to open up to them.
In his words “Dim it fit to always meet your lecturers and level advisers on any burning issue bothering you as a student”.
The orientation was the first of its kind hosting the student – lecturer section, debate section, beauty pageant, fashion show, award presentation, airtime giveaways and lots more.
Ikulakjolu Adesola, the president of the department also advised the students to put their best into their academics and make good use of whatever opportunity that comes their way.
In attendance were the lecturers of the department including Mr. Adebowale Akinbani, and Mr. Emmanuel Oginibo, among others
